Please get in touch if you would like to help organise future events – clothesswap@casav.uk.

A clothes swap event is a gathering where people bring clothing they no longer wear and exchange them for other pre-loved garments. It’s a sustainable way to refresh your wardrobe without spending money while reducing textile waste.
How It Works:
- Simply come along on the day and bring up to 5 items of great quality clothing to swap and get to take away the same amount of “new to you“ items.
- We only accept clothing that is in great condition, with no stains, rips or excessive wear.
- We accept men’s, women’s and children’s clothing – think tops, dresses, shirts, trousers, jumpers, etc.
- We do not accept underwear, swimwear, sleepwear, baby clothes – under age 2, uniforms or fancy dress.
- We do not accept accessories, handbags or shoes.
- Entry fee is £2pp (children are free of charge)
- We only accept cash.
- Our check in team will count your items up and you will be given a card for this number of items.
- You can then browse our rails and shop in our swap sale free for “new to you“ clothes.
- We have a free café for you to use when you have finished shopping.
- Children are welcome at our event but must always be supervised.
Benefits:
- Swapping clothes reduces textile waste and promotes a circular economy.
- Swapping clothes is fun. It encourages social interaction and shared values of sustainability.
- Swapping clothes is a very cheap way to update your wardrobe.
