Great Big Green Week: 7th – 15th June
The theme for this year is ‘Let’s Swap Together for Good’.
We are planning a number of activities and events looking at swapping skills, ideas and books/magazines during Great Big Green Week.

Launch of free Taste not Waste recipe booklet by students from Stokesley School (available at all events and here).

Information Displays with free leaflets on GBGW 2025 theme of ‘Make swaps together for good’ at the Globe Stokesley, the Discovery Centre Great Ayton & the Hub Community Centre Hutton Rudby – ideas for simple lifestyle swaps to address climate change and biodiversity loss (and maybe save you money!)

Stokesley Mending Circle, Stokesley Town Hall – a free new monthly group welcoming all to come to learn and share skills to mend or alter your clothing or textiles

Yatton House Community Garden, Working Party, Great Ayton – all welcome to join in developing this wonderful community garden, sharing & learning gardening skills

Repair Cafe, The Globe Community Library, Stokesley – bring your broken household items (electrical appliances, toys & bikes, computers & phones, clothing & textiles) for our volunteer repairers to fix for free including refreshments
