Great Big Green Week: 10th – 18th June
Events that we know of happening in the Stokesley and villages area:
Saturday 10th June – Repair cafe in Stokesley from 10am to 12 noon. Organised by CASaV.
Saturday 10th June – gardening for wildlife in Stokesley 2pm and 7:30pm, booking essential. Organised by CASaV.
Sunday 11th June – identifying wildflowers in Great Ayton’s floodplain meadow, led by Martin Allen, meet in Waterfall Park, Great Ayton at 2pm.
Organised jointly by CASaV and Brighten Up Great Ayton.
Sunday 11th June – wildflower walk, led by Helen Herring, meet in main car park Cod Beck at 4:30pm. Organised by CASaV.
Wednesday 14th June – wildflower walk, led by Anne Press, meet at Bank Foot, near Ingleby Greenhow at 10am. Organised by CASaV.
Wednesday 14th June – North Yorkshire Rotters will be at Great Ayton Discovery Centre from 11am – 1pm.
Saturday 17th June – learn to mow with a scythe in Faceby.
A wide range of events are also happening in the Esk Valley and East Cleveland, in May, June and July, as part of the Community Earth Festival.
