CASaV are part of the United for Warm Homes campaign calling for:
- Urgent support for people dealing with sky-high energy bills.
- A new emergency programme to insulate our heat-leaking homes.
- An energy system powered by cheap, green renewables.
We are taking part in United for Warm Homes Day of Action on Saturday November 18th by creating a community quilt at our monthly Repair Cafe (reusing surplus fabric!) to present to our MP and PM Rishi Sunak.
Individuals or organisations can join in by designing / creating a 15cm x 15cm fabric square highlighting any aspect of the campaign and bringing it along to the Repair Cafe at Swainby Village Hall Saturday November 18th 10-12 where we’ll sew all the squares together. The fabric squares can be embroidered, appliquéd or design drawn with permanent felt tip. We’ll also have fabric squares on the day for you to decorate if you like!
Join us to be United for Warm Homes!
