Free, fun self guided Nature Trail around Cod Beck Reservoir on Saturday October 24th starting from the main car park and open from 10.30-2.30.
This family friendly event introduces visitors to the rich wildlife around Cod Beck and is ideal for a half term activity but is also suitable for all ages.
Come and see the beautiful autumn colours in all their glory and catch sight of the migrating and wintering birdlife including Greylag geese, Wigeon, Snipe, and Redshank. Extra observant trail walkers might catch glimpses of Red Kite and Sparrowhawks.
Thanks to CASaV’s Osmotherley Environment and Nature sub-groups for organising this great event. The event is being organised as part of the Upper Cod Beck project which is recording the wildlife around Cod Beck and is supported by Yorkshire Water.
